The Sonflowerz British-American sister act, the Sonflowerz
began in 1999 when Elissa Leander began writing original worship songs at the age of 14. Encouraged by her youth
pastor to form a band with her sister, Becca (bass/vocals/keyboard), they began performing at venues across their
home state of Colorado. The act's first album, You Remain, and single, Crazy Love, were released in 2002. Their
sophomore effort, Alive in You, was released in 2005.
Youth events, women's conferences and worship services are all part of The Sonflowerz touring ministry. They
have partnered with speakers such as Nigel James (Third Day's on-road Pastor), author and speaker Lisa Bevere.
They have shared the stage with artists such as Jeremy Camp, Kutless, Phil Wickham, BarlowGirl, and Sanctus Real.
"These girls are the real deal. They are talented musicians and true artists, but what really sets them apart
is their passion for God. We are excited to watch them make an impact on the world," says Alyssa Barlow of BarlowGirl.
Along with the release of their new CD, The Sonflowerz will be touring the U.S. in 2008, and are currently booking
youth and women's conferences, retreats and other events. "During our travels we've met a lot of young people
who are hurting," Becca said. "More than ever, they are searching to fill a void. We want these songs on this
new record to point the way to Jesus."

Mandeville found a strong show of support at radio for his debut single Glorify. In the States, this first single from his solo debut titled We Belong To Heaven spent 14 weeks in the Top 10, climbing to #2 on the U.S. Billboard Soft A/C charts. Glorify ended the year as one of Christian Music Weekly’s Inspirational Top 10 songs in 2009.
Mandeville’s video single for Glorify also aired on all major Christian Music video shows including JCTV, Gospel Music Channel and Daystar TV.
As the year closed, Mandeville’s debut project We Belong To Heaven was honored with an Independent Music Awards nomination for Contemporary Christian Album of the year, which he later won at the turn of 2010.
